The Iron Fire, which started on June 20, 2026, is now 100 percent contained. Located one mile northwest of Eureka, Utah, in Juab County, the human-caused wildfire burned 41,842 acres of private land. Firefighters faced minimal fire behavior, characterized by smoldering and isolated torching within timber litter and understory fuels.
As a Type 1 Incident managed by a Complex Incident Management Team, the response involved 123 personnel. The total cost to manage and suppress the wildfire reached $10,170,735.
