The Tower Fire, which began on June 07, 2026, is now 100 percent contained. Located 31 miles southeast of Nephi, Utah, in Millard County, the human-caused wildfire burned through 1,369 acres of federal land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The fire, which was fueled by six-foot-tall chaparral, exhibited minimal behavior, characterized by smoldering and isolated torching.
Classified as a Type 3 Incident, the fire was managed under a Type 4 Incident Commander. A crew of six personnel remained on-site to oversee the final containment efforts. The total cost of managing the incident reached 1.3 million dollars.
