What is the Real-Time Wildfire Map?

Our wildfire map shows every active fire in the world using NASA FIRMS satellite data. Satellites detect new heat several times a day and the map refreshes every 10 minutes. It includes forest fires, grassland burns and other fire signals. Each fire page adds the official figures from EFFIS, NIFC, CIFFC and Copernicus.
