The ATLANTIC (06) Fire, a Type 5 incident managed by a Type 5 Incident Commander, ignited on June 28, 2026, in Tamarac, Broward County, Florida. Located eight miles west of Pompano Beach, the blaze consumed 5,780 acres of state-owned land characterized by 2.5-foot tall grass.
