The QUARRY 2 (13) Fire, which started on June 15, 2026, is currently active on private land located six miles west of Doral, Florida, in Miami-Dade County near Miami. The wildfire has burned 19,018 acres and is now 97 percent contained. Firefighters report minimal, flanking, and backing fire behavior as the blaze consumes tall grass measuring about 2.5 feet in height.
