Expanding at a rate of approximately 1,295 hectares per day, the wildfire near the North Slave Region in the Northwest Territories has now been burning for 13 days. Since its ignition on July 4, the blaze has consumed 16,839 hectares, or roughly 41,610 acres, of land.
