Located 17 miles southwest of Inchelium in Ferry County, Washington, the blaze is currently exhibiting active, wind-driven behavior characterized by torching and spotting. Satellite sensors have detected 28 heat signatures in the area over the last 48 hours, underscoring the rapid spread of the incident.

The fire, which is of natural origin, remains at zero percent containment. A Type 3 Incident Management Team is overseeing the 12 personnel assigned to the federal land, with suppression efforts currently totaling $100,000 in costs.
