Spanning 16,070 acres of federal short grass terrain fifty miles southwest of Mountain Home, Idaho, in Owyhee County, the naturally caused Duncan Fire continues to burn with moderate, running, flanking, and backing behavior. Satellites have picked up thirty-three heat detections near the active perimeter over the past forty-eight hours.
