Fueled by short grass, the active and creeping CROWLEY Fire has charred 1,500 acres in Malheur County, Oregon, located 32 miles west of Jordan Valley. A lone satellite heat detection recorded over the past 48 hours highlights the current spread of the blaze, which remains zero percent contained on federal land managed by the BLM.
A Type 4 incident managed by a Type 4 IC, the response to the wildfire involves 40 personnel. The firefighting effort has accumulated a cost of $250,000 since the incident started on July 23, 2026.
