Satellites have picked up four heat signatures in the area over the last 48 hours, illustrating the spread of the incident as firefighters battle moderate behavior featuring torching and backing.

First reported on July 22, 2026, the Type 4 incident is currently 30 percent contained under the direction of a Type 4 Incident Commander. Operations to suppress the blaze have accumulated $5,000 in costs.
